For example, the aluminium shapes used for truck beds have a protective surface coating known as an "anodic oxide coating". Such coatings for trucks must not only protect surfaces, but also keep the color uniform.
The color of the anodic oxide coating material is affected by properties of the base aluminium shape, such as surface roughness and metal oxides forming on the surface. At Nikkeikin ACT, we use special processing methods to adjust and control such color-affecting variables to produce a uniform, even surface color.
