Self-baking Electrodes are widely used in Electric Furnaces for production of Ferro-alloys, Carbides and Phosphate Fertilizers. With development of larger Electric Furnaces, diameter of these Electrodes are also getting larger. NDK has long and extensive experience in manufacturing Carbon Electrode Paste used for both closed and open Furnaces. We have been supplying large numbers of Electrode Carbon Paste for use in large-size Furnaces in Japan and overseas market.

Graphite Materials

We manufacture base graphite material used in various fields such as for base material with high electrical conductivity, wear resistance, anti-corrosiveness and lubricating properties.

Carburizer

We manufacture high purity graphite carburizers used in the manufacturing of high grade cast iron product.
Since high quality raw material is used, it possess stable quality of superior characteristics.

Carbon Troughs

Carbon Trough is our original product, developed by applying Super Micropore Carbon for Blast Furnaces as trough material used for Aluminium casting.
Because of long life campaign, less metal contamination, and friendly to environmental aspect, our carbon trough is used in various field such as ingot casting and die casting.

Materials for molten Aluminum Metal Processing

We provide gas injection pipes, stirring shafts, impellers, etc. used as processing equipment for molten Aluminum which have high oxidation resistance.

Carbon Electrode made of 100% Plant-based Material

We have developed Carbon Electrode made of 100% plant-based materials that is environmentally and health friendly. It has been evaluated for its high sublimation rate and sustainability, and is used for fullerene production by Arc discharge method.
Fullerenes are Carbon allotropes with soccer ball-like carbon structure, and are expected to be applied in various fields such as cosmetics.

Carbonized Plate for Biochip

Biochip is a device in which DNA and Protein is immobilized on plate, and is used for genetic diagnosis and antibody reaction diagnosis. We are involved in research and development of Carbon used for the plate, and we provide carbonized Carbon plate. Carbon plate is highly evaluated for its inspection sensitivity and recyclability, and is being used in the medical research field.
